Residential Care Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of clinical care at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Ensures that clinical programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations. Being a Residential Care Medical Director provides patient consultations as needed and manages relationships between staff and attending physicians. Advises non-medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Additionally, Residential Care Medical Director requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a state license to practice medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Residential Care Medical Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. What does this role entail?
RISE is currently seeking a creative and results-oriented Residential Director to oversee ten residential group homes and three supported living programs. Our programs are located in Marion, Polk, Linn and Lane counties and this position can office out of either our Eugene or Salem office. This role supervises our Assistant Directors and Behavior Specialists in effectively supporting the individuals we serve. This position will require an eye for quality assurance and detail, strong leadership abilities, a high sense of urgency, reliable follow through, and a passion for serving our community. This position will have responsibilities in monitoring and improving our systems and processes around recruiting, program development and training. Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and networking skills are a must.
