Retail Loss Prevention Director oversees a team of loss prevention staff that is responsible for safeguarding company assets from losses due to theft or fraud. Develops loss prevention and security policies and procedures. Being a Retail Loss Prevention Director creates and implements accounting and operational processes to reduce risk and losses. Directs investigations and the implementation of loss prevention programs. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Director may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Retail Loss Prevention Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Retail Loss Prevention Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We are now hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for our client’s logistics and fulfillment centers in Tewksbury, MA.
Job Details:
Pay Rate: $22.51 per hour
Shift/Schedule: 2nd Shift- 2 pm to 10 pm
Must be willing to work at least one day at a front desk position that has many similar responsibilities to a receptionist.
Need to be polite to the client's workers and friendly. Need to be attentive to everyone who is entering and exiting the building.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Documents incidents and conditions causing risk and forward reports to Account Manager.
- Establishing productive, collaborative relationships with client site management and Metro One management.
- Operate computer system and notate accurately in a daily activity report.
- Observe, survey, and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
- Maintaining communication protocols that provide an effective client relationship.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Qualifications:
- Must have open availability and flexible work schedule
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have at least one year of security experience
- Have a solid/stable work history
- Drug Testing and Background screening required
- Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to work in all weather elements
