    Job Description
    Provides administrative and support services to the Academic Services department to ensure the evaluation of student academic records and transcripts are performed in a timely manner to determine eligibility for admission, degree completion and/or graduation as necessary and appropriate. Performs all dutis in full support of the University's brand, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the University of Hartford's core business - the education of students.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Evaluates student academic records, transcripts and transfer credits to determine successful completion of degree requirements within a particular field of study. Assesses, reviews and evaluates student records and academic standings at the completion of each term. Prepares Academic Standing Reports pertaining to commencement, academic honors, probation, dismissal warnings and dismissals for review by the Dean (or designee).

    Description of Key Responsibility: On-boards and advises graduate students on their program of study, chosen concentration, and suggests resources within the university for other needs. Participates in orientations, open houses and other activities as needed to assist in recruitment efforts.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Ensures the maintenance of accurate records and databases detailing student information, used for enrollment, academic status, program and/or scholarship eligibility and other necessary information in an effort to ensure the integrity of the database. Generates reports as required.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Acts as the primary point of contact for the graduate department email. Provides quality customer service to both internal and external constituencies on the telephone, in person and in writing. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact while safeguarding the interest and well-being of the student.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Maintains a comprehensive filing system for each academic department in an effort to ensure easy retrieval of student files/information by faculty and staff. Ensures departmental supplies are ordered as necessary and within budgetary guidelines for effective office operations. Opens, sorts and distributes department mail.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Serves to support all graduate programs as necessary and appropriate. Maintains the TV monitors. Maintains distribution list for emails. Orders brochures & t-shirts for events. Management of departmental financial resources as well as compliance with P-card. Organize events graduate programs, maintains Graduate Blackboard and announcements.

    Description of Key Responsibility: Performs other duties as assigned.

    Formal Education:
    Associates Degree or Two Year equivalent required.
