Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Manager ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     In this entry-level role, the Entry Level Account Manager will use their experience and provided training in sales, management, and customer service paired with their superior organizational skills to assist the business development team in executing sales strategies for a variety of key client accounts.

    Entry Level Account Manager Responsibilities:

    • Speak to customers in person to present products and services that may fit their needs
    • Assist in the execution of sales strategies for each client with lead generation and promotions
    • Facilitate consumer to brand connections by interacting with consumers on-site to answer questions and explain client product/service features
    • Assist in connecting customers as qualified leads to senior sales consultants
    • Perform customer follow-ups and ensure consumer satisfaction
    • Assist the manager with any day to day administrative support as required

    The ideal candidate will successfully progress from this entry-level opening into an advanced management training program designed to prepare team members for a management role in one of the many aspects of promotional & experiential marketing including but not limited to:

    • Leadership
    • Finance
    • Client relations
    • Sales
    • Communications

    This is a full-time entry-level position. Entry Level Account managers work directly with consumers and clients in the local area, so a great communication background is required.
