Account Manager develops relationships with smaller to mid-sized clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses. Being an Account Manager drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Additionally, Account Manager maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal. Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback. Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. May support higher-level account managers working with larger accounts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Account Manager work is closely managed. Interacts with new and current customers, provides information about the organization’s services, and may respond to customer complaints if needed. He or she must be able to communicate clearly and persuasively to effectively discuss issues and negotiate with others, direct subordinates, and explain our policies and decisions to those within and outside the organization.

    We intend to take the business to the next level throughout the entire state. That's why we need a dedicated and network-oriented business development / marketing person to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with team to create sales pipelines and close sales
    • Identify key partners in the industry and generate interest
    • Generate leads and build relationships to ensure customer conversion and revenue growth
    • Prospect and contact potential customers
    • Follow up on leads to convert customers
    • Present and sell company products to new individuals and groups
    • Promote new business and maintain customer relationships
    • Research and understand client requirements
    • Manage new and existing business and oversee staff responsible for servicing projects
    • Ensure that all customer complaints are handled professionally, appropriately, and in a timely manner
    • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments

    Qualifications:

    • Supervisory or managerial experience
    • Experience in the cleaning and/or facility management field
    • Demonstrates strong skills in: Communication, Decision-making, Leadership, and Problem-solving
    • Demonstrates professional and political aptitude
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
    • Expertise in email marketing
    • Strong online marketing skills
    • Ability to manage time efficiently and multi-task
