This position is responsible for effective daily operation of medical staff office which may include but not limited to, initiate and monitor all activates relating to the credentialing process. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, ware friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues. This coordinator proficiently coordinators and processes application for membership, reappointment, and privileging for a variety of health care provides in a manner consistent with Medical Staff Bylaws, accreditation standards and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies; Proficiently coordinates all aspects of medical staff meetings, ensuring compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Established policies and procedures, accreditation standards and regulatory agencies.
Licenses and Certifications
1. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification Required
2. Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) Certification required within two years from date of hire into the position.
