Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, account reconciliation, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

- Conduct audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information for reporting purposes

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation

- Stay up-to-date with relevant financial concepts and industry trends

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- CPA certification is preferred but not required

- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications

- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation processes

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Strong analytical abilities and financial acumen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,467.00 - $49,028.00 per year
