Description:

• Accurately enter daily receiving and perform inventory adjustments in ERP system.
• Review inventory records for accuracy and investigate any questionable items.
• Communicate with various departments/outside warehouses regarding inventory issues.
• Reconcile ERP inventory with outside warehouses monthly.
• Review warehouse Overage, Shortage& Damage activities on a quarterly basis at least.
• Assist in month-end closing, which includes but not limited to preparing journal entries, researching and resolving any account variances.
• Assist in balancing all Corporate Warehouse Inventory GL accounts for month end.
• Maintain ERP Item Master when necessary – Assist the Master Data and NPI Team to set up new/existing items in JDE.
• When necessary, process credits, error reports, customer returns, Freight/Warehouse Claims, Miscellaneous billing and manual invoices for Purchasing Department and Warehousing.
• Assist in providing documentation and explanation in relation to external audits, JSOX and other internal inquiries.
• Prepare monthly brokerage and allowances files, understand the advanced pricing and the brokerage process, able to research and resolve brokerage-related problems.
• Perform miscellaneous/adhoc projects as assigned.
• Maintain financial security by following JSOX and financial audit procedures.
• Assist in process documentation, workflows and process improvements.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree within Relevancy
• 3-5 years in Full Cycle Staff Role
• 1-3 years within Inventory Accounting
• JDE or Oracle preferred, QuickBooks-Disqualifier
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), superb interpersonal skills
• Strong work-ethic is critical for success in this position.
• Licensed CPA a plus
