Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Being an Accountant compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Additionally, Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Accountant work is closely managed. - Maintain all aspects of accounting responsibility for 4-6 properties.

- Identify and implement process improvement.
Requirements:- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1-3 years of Bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Property Management industry experience preferred but not required.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as maintaining excellent customer service satisfaction.
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing processes and requests while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to use a 10-key calculator accurately by touch.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems. Yardi experience a plus.
- Must be local to the Ramsey, NJ office.
