We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the finance department.

Ongoing Responsibilities

· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

· Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

· Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

· Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

· Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

· Provide assistance and support to company personnel

· Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems or discrepancies

· Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

· Constantly update job knowledge

· Accounts Payable/Invoicing

· Perform invoice and general ledger data entry

· Track sales/use tax for monthly reporting

Skills and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

· Superb time management and detail

· Proven accounting experience

· Strong mathematical and organizational skills

· Superb written and verbal communication skills

· Confidentiality – This role handles confidential and sensitive information that must not be shared with others

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed

Preferred Qualifications

· Proficient in one of the commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle SAP, Acumatica, NetSuite etc.

· Previous success in an office environment

· Natural interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
