Accounts Payable Analyst jobs in Santa Maria, CA

Santa Maria farming company is looking for a full-time Payroll-Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to perform a variety of tasks. These duties include but are not limited to the following:

1. Processing of weekly payroll runs of multiple entities for up to 200 employees.

2. Calculation and payment of weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes, etc.

3. Accounts payable functions, including matching and payment processing for several companies, vendor maintenance, and 1099 reporting.

4. Health insurance eligibility and reconciliation.

5. Front office customer service.

6. Backup for various other department functions.

7. Projects as requested.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and can learn new software applications. 2 years accounting experience required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required. Experience working with Famous software a plus. Some payroll experience required. The ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail are also required.

Starting rate: $29.00 - $31.00/hr
