Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our construction projects.

Responsibilities: Utilize QuickBooks and Excel extensively to manage financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and Budget reports. -Perform daily accounting tasks such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.- Perform internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate cost tracking and budget adherence.- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.- Assist with contract creation and the acquisition of permits. Qualifications:- Educational background and practical experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
