Southeastern Extrusion and Tool, Inc., established in 1971, is the largest independently owned and operated manufacturer of Aluminum extrusion dies and tooling in North America. Accounts Payable Accountabilities

This job requires attendance to the office daily, Monday - Friday, 30-36 hours per week. Employee must be punctual, strong skills in communication, MicroSoft Office.

Transactions

• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
• Help in process payroll
• Ensure that periodic bank/credit card reconciliations are completed
• Maintain the chart of accounts
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Maintain a system of controls over payable accounting transactions

Reporting

• Issue timely and complete financial reports as needed
• Aid in the preparation of the corporate annual report
• Reconciling credit card statements
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations

Compliance

• Cooperate with the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Comply with local, state, and federal government requirements

Qualifications

The accounts payable candidate will have a 2 years experience in accounts payable, Education in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, Preference will be given to candidates with accounting degrees.
