Accounts Payable Clerk supports the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts payable department. Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed. Being an Accounts Payable Clerk records and processes payments for vendor invoices in accordance with internal accounting policies and oversees payment schedules. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments. Additionally, Accounts Payable Clerk responds to vendor inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies in billings and payments. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounts Payable Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Pay Range: $24 - $30/hr DOE

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable, processing a high volume of invoices weekly for two company entities
    • Conduct department analysis for 30 different ranches, ensuring accurate application of costs
    • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and research discrepancies
    • Address vendor queries and maintain effective communication
    • Update Accounts Payable reports, spreadsheets, and files
    • Manage general ledger entries and purchase order processing
    • Process all 1099 transactions
    • Track company vehicles and manage insurance-related issues

    Requirements:
    • A minimum of 2 years full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
    • High School Diploma required
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel at an entry-level
    • Familiarity with Famous software (industry-specific) is preferred
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high-volume work
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with others in a team environment
    • Must be able to work fully onsite
