About the Position
This position provides support to Accounts Payable in the Business Services Department by performing a variety of clerical/secretarial duties, such as entering data, processing invoices, verifying documents, and generating reports. Employees assigned to this job description may or may not perform all of the essential functions and responsibilities listed below.

Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent;
and
- Hold a post-secondary or advanced degree; or
- Earned a minimum of ten (10) relevant college credits; or
- Have three (3) years of relevant experience.
* Per Governor Jay Inslee's proclamation, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption, as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more (1 ) years of progressively responsible secretarial/clerical experience preferred.
- Prior accounting, payroll, or budgeting experience preferred.
- Bilingual/Multilingual preferred (ability to speak and write fluently in both English and another language).
- Work experience in a public school and/or education system.
- Experience with applications/databases, such as Skyward, Qmalitiv, etc.
Salary: 2022-23 Office Personnel Salary Schedule, Level E; $33.43 per hour
Work Schedule: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar
Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Benefits:
Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 3.5 hour per day continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 4 hour per day continuing contract.
