Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Accounts Payable Manager designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant accounts payable records. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Payable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.
