About the opportunity:

The Accounts Payable Manager is a hands-on manager, responsible for all aspects of vendor invoice processing, payments, analysis, and reporting for the ATG North American group of companies. This position should be detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and be well organized.

What your contributions will be:

• Responsible for managing timely vendor invoice processing and payments, reconcile and resolve discrepancies, and maintain excellent vendor relationships with supervisory functions in these areas
• Manages receipt of vendor invoices and distribution to team for processing
• Research and analyze vendor discrepancies to resolve in a timely manner
• Manages the bi-weekly check, wire transfer, and ACH runs for vendor payments
• Implement and maintain proper financial controls and documentation according to policies and procedures
• Monitors and develops A/P auditing and process improvement initiatives
• Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Assist with month-end close by preparing aged analysis reports for management review
• Review daily bank transactions for cash application
• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Process yearly 1099 tax forms

What you will need for success:

• Bachelor’s Degree with an Accounting Emphasis or equivalent work experience
• 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Minimum 2 years management experience
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
