Accounts Receivable Clerk jobs in East Brunswick, NJ

Coastal Amusements, a leading manufacturer of coin operated games for family entertainment centers since 1988, is currently seeking a Office Admin/AR Clerk to join our team in Lakewood, NJ.

Accounts Receivable - process check/ACH/Wire deposits and process credit cards (must know how to apply payments). Customer collections on accounts and issue customer credits.
Office Admin/Sales Orders - create sales orders and Invoice customers that are communicated to you through our Sales Department and Production Department.

Other - filing, respond to e-mails, answer phones and other office duties.

Qualifications and requirements

• 2-3 years Accounts Receivable
• High volumes of data entry experience with accurate data entry skills
• This person must be detail-minded, organized and have the ability to stay on task
• A proven ability to manage constantly changing priorities. Proficient with Excel, and other accounting software.

Dutie(s):

• Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
• Clerical functions such as billing, monthly statements, etc.
• Treasury functions such as bank deposits, record wire payments, and credit card transactions
• Posting payments to the general ledger and conducting daily cash reconciliation
• Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
• Making collection calls on outstanding accounts
