Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts receivable department. Creates and distributes invoices to customers. Being an Accounts Receivable Clerk records, verifies, and posts payments received by the organization and ensures transactions are recorded in accordance with internal accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Clerk responds to customer inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies regarding bills. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Clerk job for the corporate office located in Emeryville, CA.
The job is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and have some experience in accounts receivable collections.
You will work within the accounting department and be involved in accounts receivable, reaching out to customer via phone calls and emails resolving and discrepancy or challenge to bring in payment, help with the invoicing and cash receipts, and assist on any projects and duties that need to be tackled by the accounting department.
