Process accounts receivable within a professional team environment.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma; must be able to read, write, and do basic math skills:

• Transportation industry experience preferred.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft work, excel, and lotus notes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Be available for overtime as required.
• Prefer Accounts Receivable and Collections experience.

License: Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk for a majority of an eight hour day.
• Ability and strength to operate a computer keyboard, copy machine, printer, fax machines, and telephone.
• Ability to climb one flight of stairs.
• Ability to lift small boxes of office supplies weighing up to twenty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process driver collects on a daily basis.
• Monitor collection efforts on assigned accounts within a team environment.
• Process credit card accounts and maintain accurate information.
• Banking deposits.
• Initiate and process billings.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, co-workers, and management.
• Process weekly aging reports.
• Process daily cash reports.
• Process monthly revenue reports.
• Ability and willingness to cross-train within other departments.
• Communicate issues to your supervisor.
• Process EDI Transmissions/to include monitor of Transmission.
• All office personnel must be reliable, must report for duty on time, must be neat and presentable, and must be available for overtime when required.
• All office personnel must keep management informed.
• All office personnel must maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
• Learn and adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
