Responsibilities:

1. Posts receipts on behalf of Hospital and Physician Practices. Includes electronic receipts as well as paper checks and cash.
2. Runs daily report and proves receipts
3. Balances cash receipts monthly between Cerner and accounting system.
4. Performs other tasks related to the collections and resolutions of patient accounts as assigned.
5. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
6. Participates in administrative staff meetings, attends other meetings as assigned, and performs other duties as assigned or requested.
7. Perform other tasks related to accounting functions of institution as assigned;
8. Maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

Education:

•  High school graduate or equivalent

Work Experience:

• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable preferred;
• Ability to work with insurers and employees;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, high attention to detail, and ability to document processes with detail
• Plans and prioritizes work effectively, with a proactive approach to issue resolution
• Must possess the ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems desired.
