Job Title: AP/AR Specialist

Reports to: Accounting Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

In our Wisconsin facility, we design and manufacture agricultural instruments to help farmers improve crop yield to deliver more high-quality food to people worldwide.

Position Summary: Supports financial activities of our organization by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

• Review, code, and input all vendor invoices
• Process 3-way matching purchase order vendor invoices
• Audit and process credit card statements and expense reports
• Prepare and run recommended check runs each week
• Maintain W-4 files and appropriate 1099 setup and reporting
• Create and send customer invoices
• Customer statements and collections efforts
• Customer and vendor communication
• Review bank activity (online) and confirm all entries have been made in the accounting software and process bank reconciliations in accounting system.
• Sales and Use tax reporting
• Enter labor work order hours into ERP system
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Support month-end close process
• Benefits coordination and administration
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• 3-way purchase order matching experience
• Ability to self-manage time and tasks
• Motivated and disciplined with a strong desire to succeed, learn, and drive positive change.
• Effectively works in teams to solve problems
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills required with both internal and external customers.
• Maintains upmost confidentiality and integrity

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting, and two plus years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
