A little about our current needs :
We're seeking a highly-qualified activities director who has a minimum of 3 years of successful experience leading an activities department in a similar environment. Candidates who have earned the professional credentials (ADC, CTRS, CDP, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply. This key member of our organizational team will be a creative, energetic leader who observes "best practices" with regards to the activities profession and possesses a solid understanding of current therapeutic programs designed to stimulate the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of elderly Residents at all levels of care. Exceptional interpersonal, written, coordination and collaboration skills are required, as this position will communicate on a daily basis with other leaders, staff members, and those involved in the care of our Residents. Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and related documentation is required as is the ability to work days, evenings, and some weekends in order to meet the needs of the program. Strong organizational ability and computer skills are essential. CDL license a plus.
