What we are looking for: The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for system, desktop and applications support; software and hardware maintenance; troubleshooting; desk phone and mobile maintenance and support; and other duties as requested.
Responsibilities:
· Log, prioritize and resolve helpdesk tickets in accordance with company policy
· Troubleshoot errors with desktop applications and hardware
· Support and troubleshoot conferencing systems in support of systems engineer
· Perform software and desktop hardware upgrades
· Deploy, support, and troubleshoot mobile devices
· Setup and maintain all end user applications, including Microsoft Office suite and other business applications
· Plan and set-up of equipment
· Troubleshoot errors with on-site and off-site clinical systems and applications, using additional internal or external resources when necessary
· Respond to desktop and end user security incidents in support of Security Team
· Promote a culture of security awareness within the end user community
· Perform system checks and back-ups
· Maintain user instructions
