Loan Protection Programs Specialist
Location: Hybrid from Pensacola, FL (1-2 days/week onsite)
Pay Rate: Open to W2 hourly and salary

Requirements

• Review GAP Services Application (NFCU 298A) for completeness and accuracy to determine if additional information and/or supporting documentation is required from the member
NFCU 298A is a form that members submit to add or cancel Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) product to our members. The form has the members loan number, vehicle identification number, account number to debit GAP fees and signatures that need to be validated with the information on file in the Navy Federal data base.
• Process NFCU 298A’s and make decisions within established guidelines and policies by transfer, finance, cancel, refinance or to send a letter for incorrect NFCU 298’s received
• Research, analyze and resolve NFCU 298A discrepancies
• Receive guidance and instructions from Loan Protection supervisors regarding complex issues that are beyond scope for your review
• Maintain detailed records and contact history information on each member interaction and actions taken on your excel spreadsheet
• Communicate with members via eMessage for NFCU 298A questions
