Adult Inpatient Unit
MHS is looking to add to our Clinical Management Team with a Director of Social Services on our Adult Inpatient Unit. This is a working director position, carrying a caseload in addition to supervising, developing and implementing ACU programming. The Director of Social Services directly supervises the social services and recreation therapy departments on the unit. Our inpatient Unit is a 16-bed, acute care facility, serving clients in both Clark and Madison County. this position is located in our main building at 474 N. Yellow Springs St. in Springfield.
The Director of Social Services will provide administrative and clinical supervision on our 24 hour Acute Care Unit and function as a member of the MHS Leadership Team, you will provide valuable insight to our teams, including quality, performance improvement, safety, supervision and act as a mentor to therapists working to obtain independent status. Candidates should be prepared to work following the MHS Values and Mission statement and work to ensure the community has the necessary resources for mental health services.
