The Advertising Account Executive targets potential advertising clients and develops relationships in order to acquire new advertising accounts. Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising accounts. Being an Advertising Account Executive may require a bachelor's degree. May be responsible for selling ad programs in digital formats including banners/buttons, rich media, and interactive ad products. In addition, Advertising Account Executive typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being an Advertising Account Executive gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
