Summer Nanny for Amazing Kids

Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and engaging individual to serve as a summer nanny for 3-4 children. Our nanny will be responsible for providing attentive care, organizing fun and educational activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children throughout the summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare: Provide attentive and nurturing care for three children, aged 7, 8 & 10 ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Activity Planning: Plan and organize age-appropriate activities, outings, and educational experiences to keep the children engaged and entertained.
• Pool
• Irvine Park & Zoo
• Nature Hike at Beaver Creek
• Backyard inventions
• Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Transportation: Safely transport the children to and from activities, playdates, and appointments as needed.
• Educational Engagement: Plan and create fun activities to further the children’s love for reading, write, art or nature. These can co-exists with fun activities.
• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the children's activities, schedules, and any concerns or developments.
• Safety: Follow safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children at all times, both at home and during outings.
• Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable to accommodate any changes in schedule or unforeseen circumstances that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably as a nanny or childcare provider.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and connect with children of different ages and personalities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if transportation of children is required).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Schedule:

• June - August. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some vacation time planned by families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
