About the job

We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented, and hardworking Production Associates to join us as we set up an all-composite aircraft manufacturing line.

Please do not apply if you do not have experience with power tools.

• Work to achieve production goals
• Operate and maintain production equipment
• Carbon-epoxy composite layup
• Follow instructions to assemble parts
• Assist engineers to prototype, rework and repair tooling and parts
• Assist engineers to develop manufacturing procedures, best practices and quality inspection metric
• Keep work area organized and clean
• Receive and transport deliveries
• Record manufacturing data and complete travelers
• Shift begins 4 AM or 8 AM

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hands
• Experience in using power tools
• Good craftsmanship
• Ability to work with others in a team and take direction from Manufacturing Manager
• Ability to lift thirty pounds and odd shaped objects
• Ability to stand 100% of the time
• Communicate in English

• Experience with epoxy and composites
• Wire harness, crimping, soldering
• Forklift and CNC

• Sense of urgency
• Proactive and find motivation in building useful products
• Strong work ethic and focus on timely project completion
• Able to use deductive reasoning when minimal knowledge and instructions are available
• Desire to grow with the company and taking on additional responsibilities

• $20 - $30/hour

Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.
