Supervises assigned branch territory Life sales activity to achieve team goals; monitors agent performance and provides guidance, ensuring a high level of Five Diamond Service delivery to clients. Sells all Life Insurance agency products, meeting individual sales and quality goals; Builds relationships with Insurance and Branch Management team, carrier partners and industry associations.

What you will do:

• Supervises a team of 8-10 Life-Annuity Insurance Agents within assigned branches, visiting on a periodic basis, monitoring performance, coordinating sales activities, reviewing sales results, providing feedback and assistance towards meeting goals, and sharing best practices and sales techniques. Advocates and ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and review of new business submissions. Coordinates monthly coverage schedule and addresses any gaps in staffing coverage; approves vacation time, partners with branch management to monitor agent attendance and reliability. Drafts and administers performance reviews and proactively addresses employee performance issues, escalating to the attention of the Life Sales Manager and HR as appropriate. Provides training to new employees and technical guidance as required. Provides guidance, information and support to other Club insurance staff as needed; may participate in special projects.
• Responsible for the life and annuity sales production within designated footprint through personal production and through the motivation and leadership of their Life & Annuity Specialist team. Develop referral and networking sources that provide sales opportunities in the personal, family, and small business markets.
• Maintain partnerships with life insurance company representatives and underwriters, enabling Life & Annuity Specialists to act as a liaison between their clients and the insurer.
• Maintain accurate paper/electronic records and facilitates reporting via the agency management system, including the leadership of the Life & Annuity Specialists accurate and complete customer files in CRM.
• Establish and maintain an understanding of the concepts and products available to meet client needs and capitalize on available opportunities. Support club success by recommending AAA membership, travel, and other financial service products to existing and prospective clients.

Education
High School Diploma Required Associate's Degree Preferred

Experience

Sales experience in Life insurance with proven recent track record of success within the Life & Annuity industry providing direct or indirect supervision Required

Licenses and Certifications

Required CLU, FLMI Preferred
