Job Summary
Diamond Oil & Gas is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical accounting and financial concepts, with the ability to manage various accounting tasks efficiently. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Schedule
Diamond Oil & Gas has office hours from 6 AM - 5 PM allowing team members to accommodate their personal schedules (I.E. Dentist Appointment, Errands, etc.). Additionally Fridays are flex days at Diamond wherein an employee has the option to work their full hours Monday - Thursday and take Friday off without using PTO
Duties
- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Execute double entry bookkeeping practices to maintain comprehensive financial records and Profit & Loss Statements
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare and submit oilfield regulatory documents
- Assist in Preparing and distributing 1099 forms to all vendors
- Assist in Reporting Sales Tax for each county where Diamond conducts business
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial reports as needed for management review.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding financial records.
Requirements
- Proficiency in technical accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Strong experience with general ledger reconciliation and general ledger accounting practices.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping methods is essential.
- Experience with Wolfepak Accounting Software a plus
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Experience with payroll processing is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time or Part Time depending on Candidate
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
