The AR Manager manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies. Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function. Being an AR Manager creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Ensures accurate receivable records and verifies outstanding account balances. In addition, AR Manager audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The AR Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide Psychotherapeutic Services: Offer individual and group therapy sessions to clients, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address their mental health needs.

    • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.

    • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to create and implement treatment plans that align with the facility's philosophy and the patient's goals.

    • Patient Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

    • Family Support and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between patients' families and external agencies, facilitating discharge planning, abuse reporting, and coordination of ongoing care.

    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

    • Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support to patients in distress.

    • Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and research, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

    • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other clinicians, nurses, and support staff to provide holistic and coordinated care to patients.

    • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the well-being and rights of patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support during their treatment journey.


    Qualifications

    Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:

    • Clinical Expertise: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
    • Licensure: Alaska LCSW or LPC licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.
    • Therapeutic Skills: Proficiency in providing psychotherapeutic services.
    • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
