Medina Glass Block is looking for an individual who will help assist Sales & Distribution in daily operations and sales processes in the construction industry. This role comes with the potential of growth within the company and administration roles. We are looking for a driven individual with a great attitude and has potential to learn and adapt and expand into new roles.
This is not a remote position, applicants should be able to commute to the office located in Medina, OH.
Various tasks include but are not limited to:
- Drafting correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Inbound/Outbound calls - capable of answering inbound calls assisting customers and potential customers in the sales process, and developing and maintaining client relationships
- Data entry of sales orders and completed/shipped orders
- Data entry and maintenance of leads and deals
- Preparation of invoices, quotes, packing lists, etc.
- Various misc. office tasks
Requirements:
- Positive mindset and good attitude
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, carriers, and team members
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
- Experience with Foundations Accounting Software is a positive but is not required
- Minimum 1-year experience in customer service or administrative assistant
