Art Director Assistant assists the Art Director with all phases of design projects to ensure successful project completion. Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. The Art Director Assistant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Klaystation is in need of 2 more art studio assistants. We have one opening for a full time position for 30-40 hours per week and one opening for part time 20-28 hours per week. Both positions start immediately.
Klaystation is a Pottery Studio with a Paint on Pottery Shop and a Clay Studio. This position is for the Paint on Pottery side and includes but not limited to helping customers with their painting projects, learning about glaze and pottery, unloading kilns, handling and wrapping fragile pottery, disinfecting and washing tables and supplies, ringing customers up at the register, restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors and any other tasks that may be needed to keep the studio operating smoothly and safely. Training will be provided. Possibility to help out in our birthday parties and art camps.
