Artist develops and creates sketches and other visualizations and produces finished art work for creative projects. Collaborates with creative teams to understand the intended audience, branding requirements, and positioning of concepts. Being an Artist translates requirements into required media and formats. Applies the concepts of perspective, color theory, anatomy, and composition and utilizes art assets and software tools to produce art work. Additionally, Artist may work on a variety of projects in marketing, advertising, game design, and cinematics. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Artist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. A Sandwich Artist™ serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY® brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.
Key AccountabilitiesStore Merchandising
- Receive deliveries and check in stock
- Daily bread counts
- Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
Food Safety
- Comply with Food Code of Practice
- Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
- Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart
Security & Loss Prevention
- Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store
- Follow company security procedures
- Secure cash and stock from loss or theft
Cashier Operations- Count end of shift monies and drop in safe
Occupational Health & Safety
- Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
- Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers
Personal Qualities
- Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY® and customer expectations
- Work as a team member
- Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY® Manager
Key Challenges
Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner
- Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
- Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
- Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner
