Locally owned company in Kent seeking an Entry Level Buyer Purchaser. Will train the right candidate! Salary $40-45k to start.

Entry Level Buyer - This position is responsible for placing orders and maintaining inventory to meet production demand. The Buyer will work closely with all internal teams including production, sales, quality and external vendors.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Physical Inventory packaging supplies with weekly counts, with supplier managed inventory
• Place purchase orders, track supplier lead times and confirm receipts in the system
• Maintain supplier pricing in ERP system
• Assist with maintaining inventory stock levels
• Follow up on order status
• Purchase parts and supplies, track budget
• Research and select suppliers for performance

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of related purchasing, buying or administrated experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
