Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Title: Assistant Campus Director
The overall responsibility of the Assistant Campus Director is to facilitate the smooth operation of regular academic functions while helping faculty and administration to meet teaching excellence objectives and student promotion and retention goals. The Assistant Campus Director's responsibilities range from providing administrative oversight to supporting student and faculty activities. The Assistant Campus Director also is responsible for coordinating academic affairs, including coordination of academic schedules, clinical sites, student support services, and registrar services. This position reports directly to the Campus Administrator.
