Dispensary Assistant General Manager

Assistant will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with the State, the standards set by the Company and responsible for the overall profitability of the dispensary. The Assistant Manager provides support to the dispensary staff which includes customer service and sales support, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping updated with industry news and product information. The Assistant Manager also assists the General Manager with inventory management, providing feedback to the Company, and maintaining agent and facility compliance and cleanliness. This location is open 7 days a week and candidates must provide open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule.

JOB DUTIES
· Responsible for assisting the General Manager with dispensary staff oversight, schedules, inventory and patient/customer relations
· Responsible for meeting sales and business goals. Assists managers and staff in driving a profitable business.
· Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, and returns in accordance with the State and the standards set by Company
· Maintain inventory control system and perform counts of all cannabis and cannabis products in the facility as directed by Company
· Serves as a resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations
· Provides superior customer service for vendors, patient/customers and caregivers
· Responds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions
· Responds to all staff questions, concerns or suggestions
· Resolves any conflict immediately
· Responsible for delegating tasks to staff in order to maintain a compliant and clean facility
· Coordinates with the General Manager and upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff
· Managing and implementing training on POS system
· Managers must be able to provide open availability (7 days a week) and work 40 hours a week. Set schedules are not available for this position.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
· 5 years Retail experience required
· 3 years Management experience required
· Proficient in MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS Excel
· Detail-oriented
· Experience in data entry, data management ideal
· Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner
· Strong business acumen including excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
· Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
· After-hours work required to manage sales facing inventory and order entry
· Experience in a fast-paced environment and compliance driven
· Comfortable in a flexible, ever evolving environment
· Knowledgeable of the Missouri cannabis market and products
· Industry experience preferred but not required
