Available dates of Employment for the are Associate Retail Manager position are upon immediate availability to October 25th. This position is eligible to receive housing at an affordable rate and shift meals!

Job Description:

As an Assistant Retail Manager you will provide an exceptional store experience and manage daily operations of the store. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, training and managing staff, managing inventory, ensuring proper receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise, maintaining merchandise displays and a clean store environment.

This is a hands-on position that requires leading by example. If you enjoy taking pride in your work, creating visually compelling displays, and taking responsibility for the store environment, this job is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily store operations ensuring the store is running smoothly.
• Staff Training & Management: Lead by example and assist in the training and management of the retail team.
• Ensures adherence to all established store procedures and policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolve customer concerns & maintain strong knowledge of all products.
• Contribute to profit margin goals by consistently reviewing product costs and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are always visually compelling and meet the established brand standards.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of all retail items within our pint of sale system.
• Maintain accurate inventory including ordering an inventory control.
• Maintain consistent rotation of inventory stock, and monitoring inventory levels to determine which items need to be reordered.
• Maintain organized work areas including walk in refrigerators and dry good stock areas for easy navigation.
• Store Presentation: Maintain a clean store environment all areas inside the store, porch area, loading dock, and all outside grounds.
• Receiving: Follow and know all standards for proper receiving of deliveries. Ensuring accuracy of delivery order and submitting claims/credits when needed.
• Ensure allstore procedures for opening & closing the store every morning and evening.
• Contribute to marketing strategies highlighting new items in both merchandising displays, in store messaging, and social media outreach.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in retail, grocery, or food service environments.
• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills.
• Proven leadership skills, time management, and organizational skills
• Merchandising experience and strong attention to detail a plus.
• Should work well with others, be able to take direction as well as lead and train others.
• Must have basic computer software experience and understands basic register functions.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
