Associate Dean of Medicine assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of medicine. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Medicine provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Medicine typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Medicine typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, listening to their concerns, and addressing their needs
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with customers about recommended services and explain the benefits of each service
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval before proceeding with the work
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of engine repair, shocks struts, oil changes, Opening/Closing RO's and ensuring proper billing, transmission, brake repair, alignment, tire service, suspension, and air brake systems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and explain technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose vehicle issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping and documentation
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
