Asst. Professor - Chemistry jobs in Rockford, IL

Beloit College seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Chemistry starting August 2024. This is a non-renewable 9-month position that includes teaching one laboratory-based course per semester. The candidate will be expected to teach one section of introductory chemistry or organic chemistry per semester. Candidates are expected to have completed the requirements (or all requirements but the dissertation) for the Ph.D. degree by August 2024. We especially seek candidates who have demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. This position is an excellent opportunity to teach in a department known for innovative pedagogy.
