Special Education Paraprofessionals may assist students with a wide variety of activities; however, their
primary responsibility is to assist the Special Education Case Manager with instructional activities, including
small group and one-on-one instruction and assessment, as outlined in the Individualized Education Plans.
Support Goal Attainment - 60%: Support goal attainment and services outlined in Individualized Education
Plans.
Provide Support - 15%: Provide support for instructional staff; assist teachers with instruction, student
assessment and activities.
Assist School - 15%: Assist School with School - Wide Systems (e.g. Arrival, Lunch, Dismissal, Bus, Hallways,
Bathroom.
Performance - 10%: Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
