Channel 8 KLKN-TV is a dynamic and innovative television station dedicated to delivering top-quality content and experiences to our audience. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Creative Service Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our creative department and play a key role in shaping the visual and storytelling aspects of our projects.

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska

Position type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop creative ideas for videos, commercials and promotional materials.
• Write scripts and storyboards for station clients, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience.
• Shoot high-quality video footage using professional camera equipment.
• Edit video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro to produce polished and engaging final products.
• Create motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects to enhance video content.
• Operate and maintain camera, lighting and microphone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with news and sales departments to deliver content that meets their needs and expectations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our creative output.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
• Proficiency in writing scripts and storyboards for video projects.
• Extensive experience shooting and editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced skills in creating motion graphics and visual effects with After Effects.
• Knowledge of camera operation and maintenance, including experience with DSLR and cinema cameras.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
