Full job description

State Wide Insurance Defense Firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney.

Responsibilities:

• Practice commercial litigation, professional liability, and employment law
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Must have 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, professional liability, and/or employment law
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
