Role and Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of technicians while onsite.
· Managing the specific tasks of all technicians on the project
· Monitoring the quality of work
· Arriving early to prepare for other technicians and staying later to review their work
· Maintaining and tracking all company equipment and tools used on the project.
· Reviewing, highlighting, adhering to, and redlining changes on project shop drawings
· Documenting all serial #’s of equipment installed by RPM
· Being the onsite liaison between the client, RPM, and other trades
· Daily reporting and communication with the RPM Project Manager
· Completing company and client Quality Control checklists prior to job completion
· Responsible for personally reviewing all work that once completed.
· Manage and replenish all consumable hardware required to complete the project.
· Turn on, set up, align, and/or test all equipment installed to the extent possible
· Facilitating the commissioning process with Engineers, Project Managers, and Programmers
Required Qualifications:
· 3 years of Commercial Audio-Visual field installation experience
· Valid driver’s license
· Complete government and civilian background check, MVR review and a drug test.
· Excellent audio-visual troubleshooting skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Proficient in computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
· Friendly, flexible, and approachable communicator
· OSHA 10
Desired Qualifications:
· AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, OSHA 30
· Training and certifications in Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Harman, Chief, and QSC
· Mounting and construction of all-thread and uni-strut structures
Additional Requirements
· Available and willing to travel 75-100%
· Cordless drill set (all other tools needed will be provided)
