Audio Visual Technician jobs in Oklahoma
Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Audio Visual Technician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Job Skills
Installs and pulls wire as per specifications
Installs and wires equipment used in systems
Tests all equipment after termination is made to ensure the performance of the system
Daily communications with Project Manager on delays, requirements and general status of jobs
Works with Project Manager to oversee the installation of multiple crews to ensure jobs are on track and within the estimate
All work is performed to company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced
All jobs are run within estimated billable hours
Work with Systems Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance
Works with Project Manager to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
Other duties as required or assigned by company management
Requirements
3-5 years soldering, terminating, and testing CAT5 shielded cable, XLR, speakon audio connections, and serial control communications
Ability to install wire following design drawings
1-2 years experience mounting projectors, screens, and LED displays
Cell phone, drivers license, good driving record, and own transportation.
