The Automotive Finance Manager / Automotive F&I Managers help our customers arrange the financing of purchases and present additional products that enhance the vehicle and ownership experience. Automotive Finance Manager / Automotive F&I Manager is proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability and collection ability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sells Insurance and Financing products to customers
• Fully proficient with title laws and the registration process
• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
• Desks deals accurately, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Prepares paperwork and contracts, and delivers deals
• Prepares and mails all deal packages with complete and proper documentation to lenders and/or follows any other departmental process
• Audits team deals accurately post-sale
• Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts
• Upsells vehicle service contracts and aftermarket items
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a finance and insurance manager within an automotive dealership environment
• Partner with Sales Team to secure profits from each deal
• Steady work history and commitment to building a career
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
• Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and professional appearance and presentation skills
• Ability to ask for the sale and follow through
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
