Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Facilities Manager maintains and oversees grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. The Facilities Manager performs many maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment for the building’s employees. 

    •   Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
    • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
    • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
    • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
    • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
    • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
    • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
    • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 2 years’ experience of facility maintenance.
