Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. This role will be responsible assisting passengers needing wheelchair or luggage assistance , general information, and directions to passengers as necessary in order to provide positive passenger relations.
Project a positive and friendly image when interacting with passengers, responding to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the general public.
