Bakery Clerk jobs in Maine
Bakery Clerk responds and attends to customer requests in the bakery department within a grocery store. Responsible for various duties including preparing baked goods and other items for sale, arranging and wrapping bakery products, and placing bakery items in display cases. Being a Bakery Clerk may operate machines such as bread slicers. Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Additionally, Bakery Clerk may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bakery Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. ***This is a Part Time position***
The Outlet Store Clerk is responsible for world class customer service, store presentation, product merchandising, cash and key controls as assigned by their supervisor.

What you will be doing
Operate the cash register, handle cash and prepare status reports using cash registers and/or computer systems- Maintain inventory/ stock levels on the sales floor and restocking shelves
- Responsible for product merchandising standards, pricing, signage, and coding on the sales floor and answer incoming phone calls
- Maintain a clean, neat work area to ensure store exceeds all cleanliness standards, including parking lots, carts, and trash areas.
What you we need from you
18 years or older- 1-3 years of retail experience is preferred
- Ability to lift push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time, climb, perform repetitive motions, and work in a loud and hot environment.
- Communicate effectively in English
